My name is Vero.

For the past twelve years, I have lived in Penedès, a land of vineyards, orchards, and small family-run farms.

Working as a wine and gastronomy guide has given me the privilege of meeting some truly remarkable people.

They are winemakers, cheesemakers, farmers, and dedicated artisans—people who never seek the spotlight, yet whose work gives life to the products that Catalonia is so rightly proud of.

Over time, I realised that what I truly wanted to share was not only the wine, cheese, peaches, or olive oil, but the people behind these products—people who pour their skill, knowledge, and love into everything they create.

That is how this blog came to life.

Each story is an opportunity to meet a person, discover their family, traditions, and the work to which they have devoted their lives.

Together, we will explore Catalonia through its flavours, discover how some of its finest local products are made, what makes them unique, and why they are so highly valued.
